Fred Travis has more than 25 years of finance and risk management experience and is currently an independent risk management consultant, since retiring from Anheuser-Busch in September 2005. As Director, Corporate Safety & Risk Management from 1992-2005, Fred was responsible for worldwide insurance, loss control, claims and risk management for Anheuser-Busch. During this period, Anheuser-Busch reduced its Workers' Compensation and Liability claim frequencies by more than 75%, and claim costs by 50%. Prior to joining A-B as a financial analyst in 1980, he was a member of the Corporate Finance staff at Ford Motor Company. Fred earned an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Allegheny College. He has presented on numerous safety, Risk Management, Enterprise Risk and RMIS topics at previous National RIMS sessions, and at other industry conferences. |
